From Byerly’s this week: Bellavitano. Origin unknown. It was a small sample that I enjoyed in one long sitting. $16.99/lb. Medium dry, complex and lasting flavor. MMMM!

Cheesy de Brazil

Last night was a most enjoyable dining extravaganza at the Texas de Brazil.

We deemed it Cheesy Adventure blog-worthy as we devoured at least four different types of cheeses, as well as a cheesy poof pastry… mmmmmm….

The cheesy delights were:

French Goat Cheese Terrine
Provoleta (grilled provolone)
Manchego Cheese (from Spain)
Grana Padano (from Italy)

Here’s a photos of some of the goodies we left with (key lime pie to go, match box, after dinner candy, commemorative Texas de Brazil pen, and the traditional stop-go flipper).

Overall, it was a four and a half (out of five) cheese evening.

Who says Cheesecake doesn’t count?

Cheesecake from Jason’s Deli

Tonight, Mike surprised me with a turkey sandwich and cheesecake from Jason’s Deli. “This could almost go in the cheese blog” he said.
