John is nuts! In the realm of gouda this is a superb cheese. The only other one coming close and from sheep's milk is Eweforia.......absolutely delicious for those that love Robusto.

Don't listen to John the cheese snob. This is a delicious, nutty cheese. It is essentially an aged Gouda if you need some 'lineage' for your cheese. Sorry there is no cloth binding or hand split french oak container with this cheese.

"Best cheese in the world?" Please!!! No tradition no true background just another mass produced dutch cheese with no character. You want good cheese try something real like a classic clothbound cheddar or a Loire Valley goats milk. Oh wait I'm sorry they don't sell those at the grocery store do they. Never mind continue with your pre-cut pre-wrapped commercial garbage.

I cannot go to Whole foods and buy a piece of this delicios cheese (Uniekass Robusto), note that I go twice or even three time a week to have a meal or shop. My friend and I tasted for the first time two weeks ago and now we even have a ritual to let it melt in the mouth.
We would like to have more information about this chees, origins, manufacture, and so forth.
regards,
Carolina

Is this the same cheese as Prima Donna? If not, how would you describe the difference (because they seem very similar--great--to me)? Thanks.

Awesome site! And thanks to D for sending you to my site.

But, just so you know, your link is to my general blog. If you want just cheese-specific posts you may wanna use www.gordonzola.net Especially since my next week of posts will be all about my birthday and the death of my friend.

but seriously, thanks for the link.
